The Coronavirus pandemic has dramatically changed the way we carry out our day to day activities. With restrictions in place limiting public gatherings and physical contact to avoid community transmission, dancing has become quite challenging. This is why at CareToDance we are doing everything in our power to keep your dancing going, all whilst keeping you healthy and safe from COVID-19 transmission.

CareToDance has deployed a number of measures in order to continue to facilitate fun and engaging dance classes during COVID-19. This of course if subject to change and we continue to adapt these measures in line with the latest advice from the Australian Department of Health regarding the Coronavirus outbreak.

Keep Dancing with CareToDance during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

At CareToDance we understand how critical it is to keep active, both physically and mentally during these challenging times. This is especially important too maintain good mental health and keep our bodies healthy. Not to mention of course the positive effects that dancing will have on your mood and overall outlook.

And that is exactly why at CareToDance we are making it our mission to find ways to keep facilitate ways to keep you dancing during this unprecedented times.

We are offering 2 ways for you to keep dancing, one on one private dance classes (with strict hygiene and control measures) and online classes.

One on One Private Dance Classes

We are currently still offering one on one private dance classes at our Sydney CBD and Balmain studios. We have carefully reviewed the latest advice from the Australian Government Department of Health to ensure our dance classes are delivered in a safe manner and in line with the current guidelines, health advice and restrictions. Some of the measures we have taken to ensure we are able to still delivery one on one private dance classes are:

  • Implementation of sanitisation stations.
  • Students and teaching staff are required to clean and disinfect their hands with WHO approved antiviral grade Hand Sanitiser before entering the premises
  • Both students and teaching staff will undertake temperature checks on entry to the premises.
  • Sanitisation ‘Breaks’ take care during the course of each class to allow students and teaching staff to pause and disinfect their hands.
  • Student’s and teaching staff are required to wear face masks whilst on the premises.

Online Dance Classes

As part of our continued commitment towards quality and personalised dance tuition, we are now also offering a full range of Online Dance Classes as an alternative for those who can’t attend our studios. Our students can now attend online classes from the comfort of their home or place of work whilst enjoying the same quality of teaching they are already accustomed to.

Our new online range of online dance classes with specialised courses for Adult Ballroom, Latin and Wedding Dance Tuition, have been specifically put together to keep you active whilst you enjoy your favourite hobby – dancing of course – from the safety and convenience of your home or place of work.

CareToDance recognises and understands the feelings of anxiety, distress and concern many people may be experiencing as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and restrictions that followed.

More than ever before, constructive social interaction and maintaining lifestyle routines can be supportive for our mental health and overall well-being. Whether or not you are able to have face to face interactions with other people during this time, staying connected with others is very important.

On a recent article addressing Mental Health and wellbeing during COVID-19 published by Lifeline Australia, they recommended “creating a routine that prioritises things you enjoy and even things you have been meaning to do but haven’t had enough time”.
